Georgine’s New York Fashion Week Party at Fig & Olive Meatpacking District

I was hoping to lay low for New York Fashion Week this time around, but… alas… work required me to attend at least one party (I know, First World problems). The designer du jour was Georgine – a New York City-based label who displayed a beautiful Spring/Summer 2016 fashion line, and the party was hosted by the hip and trendy Fig & Olive Meatpacking District.

My favorite part of Georgine’s designs? A big, furry, updated version of a fanny pack – that’s right, a FANNY PACK. Trust me, I’m the last person in the world to ever advocate the “pack du fanny”. But these were too adorable, and I totally want one. And no, it’s not just because I was downing several glasses of strawberry-topped Prosecco.
