A Mini Update via Tracy’s New York Life

I can’t believe it’s been five months since NYC kicked my ass out. One on hand, I think ,”So much time has passed, because it seems like I’ve done so much since then.” On the other hand, it’s more like… “Uh, five months isn’t that long.” I’m not gonna lie – the past couple of years in New York City did a number on me physically, mentally, and emotionally. So readjusting hasn’t been as quick and easy as I thought. That being said, when you take away the financial stress and the whole “crappy and inconsiderate roommate with a ghetto baby daddy situation” thing, there’s plenty of times when I miss my life over there. Especially my Saturday nights hanging out with my BFF Rae, or the guys at Dangerfield’s Comedy Club. Still, whether or not I end up back in New York, I’m determined to look at the positives; and at the end of the day, I’m SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL that I have the opportunity to rest and recuperate here in the Pacific Northwest.

If you’re a New Yorker who may have to leave the city, check out my recent article about finding the bright side of leaving NYC, published on Tracy’s New York Life HERE.
