Farewell BB

“The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.” -BB King

Yesterday, the blues world lost one of its greatest icons. Born in Mississippi 89 years ago, BB King and Lucille (his guitar) influenced an entire generation of musicians, from Eric Clapton to Lenny Kravitz. It’s difficult to imagine what music in the 20th century would have been like if he wasn’t part of it. As Lenny posted on Twitter this morning, “BB, anyone could play a thousand notes and never say what you said in one”.

So while musicians around the world pay their respects to BB, I leave you lovelies with my favorite from Mister King – “Rock Me Baby”.
